Community Education Coordinator

Kristen has more than 11 years of experience in the nonprofit industry. She most recently led the effort to implement a corporate responsibility plan for Chaney Enterprises. Prior to that, Kristen was the CFAAC Grants and Scholarship Manager from 2019 to 2021. She rejoined in CFAAC in 2023 as the Community Education Coordinator. In this role, she supports CFAAC's leadership role within the community by coordinating CFAAC's Community Impact Speaker Series and Strengthening Nonprofits Speaker Series  programs and events as well as other educational programs for nonprofit donors, board members, and staff.

Kristen was the co-owner of K&L Fundraising Event Consulting for seven years where she worked with non-profits clients to plan and execute fundraising events. Prior to that, Kristen served as a Management and Systems Consultant at Outtask and as a manager at Accenture. Kristen holds a BS from Virginia Tech in Information Systems and Finance.
